please explain FLATSPIN and DPSIN

can someone please explain to me what flatspin and dspin is. oh, also rodeo too. thanks!

a flatspin is an off axis backflip(not strait over your head),that is for a flatspin 360, if you want more rotations, you can spin more, a rodeo is a lincoln loop with spins added in, and a d-spin is a cork spin with an off axis backflip at the end, it is pretty much a cork spin where your head gets lower than your feet

here we go, a flat spin is basically when you spin on a horizontal axis instead of a vertical one. chrichton does dirty flatspin 5's.

a d-spin is a kind of corked 7 with a backflip thrown into the mix

a rodeo is sort of a lincoln with a 180 thrown into the mix.

guys u got the d spins right but the rodeos are a backflip that u throw a 180 into the spin, that basically makes u come out like a licoln though, i think thats why u all are getting confused. A flat spin is not a spin where u lay back, its a backflip but u do it on ur side. Look on the back of a ski mag, it was beginning of last year it had a sequence of jon olsson doing a flat spin 3

Dspin7 = corked 7 but more inverted...set your first 360 normally, then tilt your head to your shoulder and send your rotation so you are spotting the ground with your feet following behind, all laid out. its NOT a backflip 720! spin spin spin....

Flat spin = come to the lip and feel like you are popping to the right while setting your spin to the left. spin left, pop off your right edge. Flat spin and rodeo are very similar, just tinker with your angles and axis of your spin to work it...a rodeo is NOT a backflip and a spin.

The only time you do a backflip and a spin is when your a gay airialist skier. You have to pop of different areas of balance.

A flair is a backflip while looking over your shoulder, that is all it takes. The rotation comes from whatever direction you are looking.

flat spin and rodeo is pretty much the same trick only (i think) rodeo you go invert while flat spin you don't. i am still confuse about the d-spin myself, looks like a back full to me.

You're mostly right. The same components are there. Since you know what a back-full is, in a d-spin, the twist is rushed at the start so the backflip isn't completed (vertically).
