Please allow me to properly introduce myself

Welcome to Newschoolers MOM! I just have to say that if my mom was half as cool as you were id be outragiously lucky. And if you want to brush up on your trick names and maybe even learn new ones go join the Trick Tip Forum (its a cult), the sticky's are very helpful in showing what trick is what and how to do them. i think NS is more concerned with your use of the phrase "HOOOOOD NiGGA" than simply posting on wallisch's wall... only 40+ woman i know who uses the word nigga. kinda weird, not gonna lie. you say that to your kids?
 
^Yes.....I understand how that must have came across. I do have to watch my language sometimes, as its not appropriate for my age. I guess I'm around my kids and there friends too much, which they like btw...we have lots of laughs. I am who I am you know what I mean. Its kind of funny, I went back to delete that post shortly after I made it because after thinking about it, I felt "that was a stupid thing to say", but then I noticed someone found it funny, to I figured, what the heck...I'll leave it. Once again, the jokes on me. I will TRY to grow up a little bit and clean up my language. But I will admit, I'm not a traditional kind of mom slaving in the kitchen all day. I much rather work in my yard listening to my Ipod

 
And no I don't talk that way with my kids,especially the "N" word. You know, FB and other various forums (Green Day forums I'm on) kind of bring out a side of you, a looseness in your talk, that you would not otherwise express. It's just a fun outlet where you have a little freedom to act silly. I remember way back when I joined my first GD forum, I didn't even know what "lol,lmao,ttyl,wtf....etc even meant :D. Then most recently watching all the videos of the freeskiers, I've picked up on the slope slang. I must admit, I do feel a bit weird saying stuff like "Tight,dope,sick,steezy,gangsta. Maybe I should be on OS(old schoolers),is there such a thing, but that would be kind of dull I imagine.

I've acutally toned my FB down since lots of my "normal" friends and family members are my friends on there. They all probably think I'm nuts, and maybe I am a little bit, but I have fun and smile and laugh alot with my friends!

BTW...I still think hood nigggaaa is funny since Tom is at the hood, and don't the skiers try to act gangsta/nigga like. So I guess I felt it was appropriate at the time. Maybe I could call him a "Hood Honky instead.:)

its bad enough that my mom has facebook but if she started writing on skiers walls I think I would commit suicide or move to live in isolation in the Canadian North
 
I was invited to check it out and sign up by Robert " Pappasteeze" and a couple other sincere, well intended FB friends who felt I would enjoy this amazing website for its great information. I still didn't plan to sign up because I didn't want to spend any more time on the computer than I already do.Then some guy left me a pm on my facebook informing me that a hate thread and fake acct. had been created directed at me!!. In order to see what was going on over here, I had to join. What I read was devasting at first,and caught me way off guard. I'd never been so hurt in ALL my life at the things being said about me. What a small community the ski community really is, and they all seemed to gang up on me without me even knowing about it.And all because I befriended Tom W. and made some comments to him and others.

I'm still amazed at how some people on NS find it so important to watch my activities on FB. What is it to you what I do with my time, and what I say to Tom, or any one else. I'm just dumb founded by this interest in my FB activity. It creeps me out that some of you watch everything I do, then go and copy and paste it here to make fun of. Sounds like some of you have too much time on your hands as well. Why is commenting to skiers any different than commenting to any of my other friends. My God Tom has almost 5,000 friends, and I'm surprised why more people dont comment. Whats the sense of being a friend then. I make a habit of skimming through all my FB friends posts quickly every morning,and again at night, making comments to acknowledge them.....its not just TOM i comment. I love people, both on line and off. To me it just seems natural to interact in some small way, and if some of you find that creepy, I don't really care. Judge me all you want....I don't care. The only judge that matters is my God,and I believe he has a great sense of humor,as do I
 
And thank you Alex!:) There are a few people I've met on FB that I will have the opportunity to meet while I"m out there, and I can't wait! Do I hope Tom is one of them........absolutely, that's if I haven't scared him away by now :D
 
dudeee. your going to hood the 3rd session? me too, i cant wait to meet her and her son kyle. hah hopefuly im gunna try to get T-wall to meet mary, should be rad.
 
Unfortunately im going to MHSSC sessions 5 and 6 but im gonna make sure I go out of my way to see Mary and Kyle

I wouldnt put too much thought into what the kids on here say. just trying to act all cool on the internet. if it makes you feel better i would put money on the fact that 99 percent of them would be totally polite and wouldnt say a damn thing rude to you if they saw you in person.
 
You guys.....I'm so stoked. I met lil Willie Borm tonight when I picked my son up from Classic Gymnastics. My son and his buddies go there to work on their trampoline skills, and Willie was killin it!!! OMG....my son said "hey mom, there's Willie", and I ran up to the little slayer and shook his little hand and said "Hi Wille, I'm Mary O'Neil, I've talked to you on FB and I'm so happy to meet you, oh my gosh you are my idol.....you are so amazing!!" He was so sweet with that big smile of his, even though he probably thought "who is this crazy lady " lmao :D I don't even care, I'm just an out going person, and was thrilled to meet that amazing young athlete. I wished him well at Whistler later this month, and off I went smiling from ear to ear!! My son and his buddies thought it was really cool I did it too, all be it a little shocked Haha. Just imagine if I meet Tom at Windells :D
