PLAYSTATION NETWORK is down

The guy Hotz used to go my college (RIT) and is also the first one to jailbreak the iPhone. There was an article in our most recent school magazine about the situation with Sony.

Not only did Sony sue him, they also demanded the ip's and personal information of all users who visited his youtube and webpage.

Thats bullshit. Personal information of internet users should not be granted in cases such as this. There is no way Sony can bring a case against all those people, so in the end Sony just has a list of people who may know the hack.

I dont own an xbox or ps3 and I dont go on 4chan but I think its awesome an that anonymous group of people have this sort of power again, its good to know where not always at the hands of big corps.
 
Its because of the Geohotz jailbreak. if you have a jailbroken ps3 dont access network or else you're fucked

Even though I don't play PS3, it is hooked up to my nice tv, and the fact I can't watch Netflix on it makes me rather annoyed.

i was listening to public radio yesterday and they interviewed a kid and he was like "I'm p.o.'d, i havent been able to play for like five days and have just been sitting in my house doing nothing"
