Playmobil Vs Lego

I played with both as a child, and I would have to say Playmobil was so much tighter than legos, my reasons

1.Playmobil was more expensive and sold only in high end non corporate toy shops.

2. Their Skiing play set was rad, in addition to their racing playset, construction play set etc.All their different toys were accurate and often teamed with companies like BMW or Mercedes or Bosch to bring added real world accuracy and helped develop brand awareness at a young age.

3.Lego was way too mainstream, and the different playmobil features were alot more realistic and accurate than the lego BS.

I don't think you can compare the two really, One lets you be really creative the other is fixed yet very realistic. Playmobil is waaay bigger over in Europe than here In North America. I had a dope set up playmobile castle with all the knights and shit, and I also had a bunch of firetruck stuff the truck even had flashing lights and could shoot water..... Anyways, I say the both pwn in their respective categories.
 
LEGO no contest. How can you compare the two? Plus anyone ever been to LEGO LAND at the Mall of America? Sickest place ever
 
Legos had versatility so even if you got a themed set, you could create anything you wanted with the same pieces, unlike playmobil
 
Um no, Legoland in Denmark is the sickest place ever, you can even drive life sized lego cars around and your license plate is a lego flag of your country....f.ag

If I actually read it right, then I have a series of questions for you.

1. Is there a Harley in your garage?

2. Does your mother have a short, butch hair cut?

3. Is your mothers husband of the female persuasion?
 
I played with both as a kid too. I had lots of Lego, but only got Playmobil whenever my uncle visited from Europe. I was always so stoked. Man I miss being a child, it was so easy to get excited and stoked

 
lego all the way... so much coolers stuff to build and you could add so many different things to sets it was pimp i loved it when i was little

LEGO was sold at fucking toysrus and other shitty toy stores and were cheap as fuck.

Playmobil could only be purchased at high end boutique toy stores and were straight from Europe and cost so much more than legos. Every kid had legos, but kids who had playmobil either had parents who traveled internationally, had family internationally, or who had parent's who prefered FAO Schwartz over faggyToysrus
 
Does Ferrari or Lamborghini have factories in China, no. That's not the point, Playmobil is so much classier and exclusive, in the way that Ferrari and Lamborghini are

 
no way, playmobil was for little kids, legos had so many more possibilities. everything was already made for you with playmobil but legos you could make the coolest shit. i was a hardcore lego user and i played with playmobil when i was like 4 but from then on it was all about legos, way better
 
playmobile limited childhood creativeness drastically. the simple fact that every piece has a set purpose and place made them no fun for me. with legos, however, i could be free and have an unlimited amount of fun making my own structures and experimenting. based on that alone, i say legos were a better toy of the two, but nothing will truly match the immense power of tinkertoys.
 
ahh so weird you made this thread because i was thinking earlier about sticking one of my playmobil skiers to my dashboard. my brother and i had both as a kid, but i'd have to say lego ruled our house...there's still a massive lego castle in my garage apartment
 
Um not legoland in england is the shit, the originnal lego land. I still got my lego car driving licence somewhere, haha.
 
dude your shit doesnt make sense, if you feel more expensive and exclusive is better than im sorry your retarded. When you're kid you dont care about that shit at least i didnt and i hope you didnt. I was a big lego fan and what i liked was getting creative and build anything i wanted with playmobil it seems to me you didnt have that option, what do you do once you finish building, beg mommy to buy you a new set?
 
i had both and as i got older i started to prefer legos just because there was more to do with them. I still loved my playmobils and i had a shitload of them, alot of the race car stuff actually, i pretty much had a full F1 track going with the pits and everything

they BOTH kick ass
 
LEGO all the way. all the stuff was sick. i had the frickin harry potter castle and would like, have wars at it. so legit
 
what the hell, LEGO was the best, no contest. Playmobil is for retard kids who aren't creative enough to make cool stuff

this makes me want to play legos so bad, i had both and i have to say legos are much more legit than playmobile, the original lego sets before they started doin all those gay collarborations and futuristic crap was the shit.
 
LEGOs were so damn sick because you could make what ever you wanted and they required skill and your imagination, you didnt just pull them out of the box and start playing with them.
