hmm, kill your radio huh? last i heard most of the music on your top ten albums gets a lot of airplay.

You can say anything you want if you don't mean it.

On average, Alaska is a year behind in all 'trends' and at least a few months behind in music. Who says one can't love music since before it was played on the radio/MTV (eg. Modest Mouse)?

Sarah

Reppin' 907

no one did, it's just funny how you say kill your radio, while at the same time the radio plays the music you like for you for free.

You can say anything you want if you don't mean it.

Tell me how much of the music in that first long list is played regularly on the radio. Ever heard of Atmosphere or Mac Lethal? Many have not. That stuff is what is 'underground' up here. Sure, Foo Fighters and whatnot aren't part of that... It's good music. The kid asked for it, so that's what he got. Radio is what ruins much good music because of overplaying. So my stance remains: kill your radio.

Sarah

Reppin' 907

There are very few good radio stations up here, and they play the same playlist on repeat all day. Sure, it's composed of good songs, but there is much more out there that I'd rather listen to instead of the same songs over and over. Therefore, I'll stick to my MP3 CDs.

Sarah

Reppin' 907

atmosphere isn't that underground anymore, actually they arn't at all. that's like saying you like candy, but want haloween to die.

You can say anything you want if you don't mean it.

^Actually, it's not at all. Very poor analogy.

As far as Atmosphere goes... It's still pretty underground up here. Not so much, but to an extent. Anyway, I put up some music, which is what he asked. He never said anything about underground shit. You did.

Sarah

Reppin' 907

you actually said underground before I did. and my analogy is accurate. you like something, but you don't like getting it for free.

You can say anything you want if you don't mean it.

My mistake; I was first to use the term.

Sure, I can listen to music for free on the radio. I prefer to go the route I usually do, which is just burning mp3 CDs with my buddies who have a rad taste in music and hook it up with whatever I wish. Besides, that way I can listen to what I want, when I want, whereas with the radio, you can only listen to what they play at a certain time. I'd rather avoid the annoying songs that I'd rather not listen to, and get my wider variety of tracks that aren't played on the radio while avoiding lame advertisements. And I repeat: the radio stations up here suck.

Sarah

Reppin' 907

alright, whateva, i don't really care, just leave the radio alone.

You can say anything you want if you don't mean it.

I noticed that Postal Service you posted. They are good. I recommend Such Great Heights and Natural Anthem by the Postal Service.

Good band...go to www.thelowlife.com and download Bag Of Money, In My Bed, and Four Walls.
