i own 17 shares of Intrawest stock. i play the stock market like it's a goldang didgeridoo. i am a very clever stock marketeer. when prices are bad, i keep my Intrawest stock, and when they are good, i also keep it. therefore, i will never lose, and soon i shall be a very wealthy man. does anybody else fight these vicious wars on wall street?

ive met the son of the president of intrawest. if it ever happens again, ill hold him for ransom and your stock will be worth nothing. he probably weighs 75 pounds more than me thoguh so it's going to require a portion of my cunning... wait, no... alllll my cunning.

i have an idea... an idea so brilliant my head would explode if i even began to know what i was talking about.

The key to investing in the stock market is to invest in an industry, not in a company. You should invest in manufacturers, purchasers and distributors of a a good. It's called diversification. This way your portfolio isn't affected by the price of a good, but by the growth of an industry. The price of a good is either impossible to predict or easy enough to predict that everyone knows it and does the same thing you want to do. Investing in an industry is generally a safe practice on account that industries usually grow in the long term.

Invest in BP or ExxonMobil....BP right now is around 60...and should get to at least 70 within the next year or so. In the last year or two it has gone up a shitload...thats how we're makin our money.

YOU LOVE IT

17 shares? Most people buy in round lots. If you really like stocks and bonds, go into finance when you go to college and become a registered representative for a broker/dealer firm. LOTS OF MONEY to be made. I just started doing just that recently. Really fun and you are have an unlimited upside income possibility. However, since my income is commission based, i have the possiblity of making jack. But I dotn suck so i'm not worried.

i think most of you entirely misinterpreted the point of this thread. my point was that i have no idea what i am doing and simply own 17 shares of Intrawest stock. it's just for decoration, that's it and that's all.
