i like when people land in control and are smooth throughout..... but every kid is doing sketchy shit then just landing sketchy and popping up to bang it.

new afterbang should be ride away however you land. you land sorta sketchy... ride it out like that. show control.

i agree/disagree, i think afterbang is dope but shouldnt be thrown in on tricks that are sketchy with no style. However if your trick is sketchy you shouldnt necessarily ride away 'sketchily' but you shouldnt bang the shit outof it either.

seriousness is overated. doing big tricks is overated.

but i guess doing big tricks is how some people have fun.

you can have alot of fun by just doing small, buttery things.

&not really a trend but I find it annoying when friends bitch about it being too cold & complain a shit ton.

and I hate people who dont go skiing b/c 'the snows shit' (more of a trend I noticed early season...).

idk I get really stoked about skiing no matter what, and think that any day skiing is a good day & has to potential of being epic. and it i hate when people don't have positive vibes on the slopes, its all about having fun.
 
well it's not really a trend..more of a natural occurence, but the feud between skiiers and snowboarders, whether it be one or the other saying that "it's cooler" or "throw down better tricks" and watever else...

...really it's almost 2009 stop acting like it's 1979

I think the most played out thing is people deciding what is played out, and then telling everyone else not to do it. If you want to claim, smile, ride away like you did something cool (the nerve) or ski with twin tips, I do not care.
 
i hate when people brag about how much time they go to the hill and they go , spend an hourish on the hill,and go inside for like an hour then they go home because ther bored ... (lots of kids at my hill do this..)

its like mandatory now apperently, i see lil kids rockin them who arnt even in the park, but seriously too played out. i can see if your ridin on a sunny day on a glacier or somethin, but we all know bandaners just get all frozen and nasty. strictly there for "cool factor" which in my book, makes them uncool.

XXXXXLLLL pants were played along time ago. Normal fitting pants are in right now and I would wear them all the time if I didn't ski moguls where i have to wear kinda baggy pants (they fit me just a baggy cut)
 
The sandbox helmet! i swear there are like 15 kids at my local hill that have them (small hill with sick park that is dominated by snowboarders) and three of my good snowboarder friends have it!. even though its relatively new its already way played out imo and i dont think it even looks all that great.
