Play Station 3

I got a PS3 for christmas. and i cant help but notice that i dont use it much. I have call of duty 3 and need for speed. CoD3 is alright, and NfS SUCKS. does anyone know any good games out for PS3, or when good games are coming out?

and try not to just say get an Xbox360
 
you just gotta wait for games really..that's the major problem when you buy a system right when it comes out..resistance is pretty good though
 
ther is def a prob buying a system brand new...like jib said...you get it knowing that there are like 10 games out and you may like one...i woulda waited for halo 3 and xbox 360 :)
 
NO shit! Nobody is buying the Ps3. The online sucks balls that we people get a Wii for it and then the 360. My 360 loves me.
 
yeah, getting gifts... FOR CHRISTMAS?! its like wtf. and getting a PS3 is the most spoiled of all of all things to get. I mean, its not like thousands of other kids got a PS3 too, and its no big deal.
 
yeah i do kinda see what you mean, that last part came out wrong. im trying to say you shouldnt be suprised that someone got a PS3 for christmas when its such a popular item.
 
I just got my Ps3 today, my dad bought it because of the blue ray, some of the other blue ray players are in the thousands, so he opted for a playstation3 instead. Anyways, I bought Resistance Fall of Man tonight and from the first couple hours of gameplay I can tell you this is one of the best games I have ever played and definitley has the best graphics I have ever seen, they don't even compare with 360, which I have played for hours on end.
 
just because i live in a wealthy white community doesnt mean im spoiled. I'm not about to say that a 700 dollar gift isnt alot. I know that its more than alot of people can afford. Im just saying that the fact that people get expensive amazing gifts like PS3, that doesnt make them spoiled.
 
dude, i bought one last week, best purchase ever. hands down.

new games will come, right now its about gta and wireless controllers.
 
i teach swimming lessons right, so ive seen quite a few kids...and ive seen fuckin like 10 year olds with more money in their account than me...and i have about 7500

yea like $7300 of that is my college savings from the past like 5 years of working. started when i was 12 reffing soccer games, got my first part-time job in retail, worked there for a year, then got my job lifeguarding and teaching swimming lessons around june last year and thats where i currently reside
 
I love where this thread has gone : D.

But seriously, it seems like you have a better understanding of money than I do. So i guess ill take what you say with more weight knowing that you have the experience to back it up.
