anyone ever been there? It's in the catskills kinda near windham. I ski there all the time so I'm just wondering
 
yea, i was there on a "powderdaize" last year when they got almost 3 ft. but i got there too late (10 30) and everything was tracked out. somebody built a shitty kicker (way too vert)
 
Ahh you should totally go to Belleayre if you're at Plattekill. They're only like a half hour apart. Actually you can see Plattekill from Roaring Brook.

Its a fun technical Downhill biking mountain is all i can tell ya, i dont thik they have a park in winter though
 
yea they have a park, 1 "Table", 1 "Spine", 2 "Boxes" and 1 "Rail".

I've been to Bellayre a couple of times, not a huge fan but the park is decent, just way too many people on the mountain.

 
hahah you think belleayre is crowded? go to hunter mid winter on a week day and there will be more people than at belleayre on most weekends
 
I've skiied plattekill a couple of times, it was a good time when I've been there, they've got some steepish stuff and some sick trees, and its so much less crowded than everywhere around.
 
ok well maybe Bellayre isnt as crowded as some of the other mountains around it, but plattekill is like a ghost mountain compared to windham, hunter, and bellayre, and thats why I like it so much

yea, if your looking for a mountain with a killer park, look elswhere, but if you wanna ski trees, huck cliffs, and go on mountainbike trails without getting yelled at, Plattekill is the place to go
 
Yes, but the guy who runs it is a total douchebag. Belleayre had plenty of rock drops, trees, chutes and what not. If you know how to find them. (Highmount!) I agree with her saying to keep going to VT.

BTW - if you ski at Plattekill, where are you from?

I have been with Belleayre since 1998. They had the chance to purchase and they declined. So now, POACH ALL YOU WANT FUCKERS!

I would love nothing more than to see Highmount become a part of Belleayre. More or less, I think they should open it for freestylers. Let the racers and old timers have Dot for all eternity.
 
Well then the extra 20 minute drive is worth it. Have a local take you to Highmount. If they're an NSer, they would prolly take you.

jea belleayre has some sick cliffs and woods and all that, you just gotta know where to go. i have been going to belleayre since 1993 so i know where most if not all of the good shit is if you give me $$ i will show you some hidden spots
 
We should have a gathering for a Highmount Hike day I bet we could find a nice landing for a massive BC booter, the one that was made this year was huge but the landing was kinda sketchy. I wish I was a Highmount when there was snow, some of those cliffs looked nice.
 
Plattekill is the shit, its 7 mins from my house...Sure the park isnt the greatest...but when you know it inside out like our crew does, theres plenty of stuff to entain yourself with.
 
I bet Belleayre crew and Plattekill crew could meet up at Belleayre sometime, and Plattekill another time. We could expose the secrets of each others mountians.
 
We have a nice crew at Belleayre, we do all kinds of gangster things like running crack, doing crack, selling the crack and we are issued guns to help the business flow better. Each one of us has been shot about 100 times and we didn't even have to go to ski patrol because we are so strong...and so black.

btw, isnt belleayre having some concerts this summer?

also, i want to set up some boxes and have a sesh somewhere in this region. we got two 8 ft boxes up here just need some snogel or something
 
yea we fuck shit up on gaper day we had a good 10 people gaped out to the extream, and yes belleayre has concerts all summer long every saturday but they all suck trust me last summer i used to work as a stage hand for the concerts
