aight i see all these programs for ski academy's, camps, all types of different shit for high dollar... But i know some pros and some kids ripping it for teams didnt have the $20,000 to dish out on a year of a ski academy.

so if you have some ideas or know of kids throwing it down and going out west and being able to ski sick spots on a low budget, let me in on ur secrets.

i live in WV with the only desent resort with in 2 hours of me is snowshoe mtn. go to there site its nothing to go crazy about. cause they just got new owners and there taking away money from there parks and not letting them build the same hits as before.

Ive thought of working at a summer camp just doing the dishes and all the shit work to ski for free during the summer. But i want to be able to rip it during the winter to.

how would i be able to ride alot on the lowest amount of cash possible thats not in WV?

ive thought about this so much and its killing me! i cant find a way around anything.

ohh and where im at im and hour and 130 min from the resort... and ive only gone skiing once. and the resort has been open since the beginning of thankgiving week..
 
i live 3 hours away from my ec resort and i already have 6 days, opened thanksgiving. you gotta be more dedicated.
 
^ dedicated.. i am man... my ony problem is rides.. we dont have shuttles we dont have shit.. im 16 and my parents dont do shit for me its all my money my time... my resort doesnt have night skiing either...

so as soon as im out of school by the time i would get up there they would be closed.
 
you definetly are in a tough position. the "secret" is just dedication, no matter how corny it sounds, put skiing at the top of your priorities. go to the regionals and set up rides with people etc. Don't be discouraged and don't let others discourage you.
 
aight i think got an idea.

this is a long shot idea but im throwing it up.. by home bound anf tought by my aunt ( no expensices on the teacher) then work in the park crew at snowshoe and ride the park and work at the same time. ive just gotta figure out my ride ordeal but i cant helo much with that lol.

u might be out of luck being in high school and stuff, its hard to get around that. Do they have night skiing? otherwise u just gotta hit up the weekends somehow.
