plans for the 02/03 season?

what are you plans for this year guys? going to any comps? road trippin anywhere? making a movie? progressing your skills?

i think this year i'm going to try to hit up the backcountry as much as possible, finding sick lines and places for jumps and gaps, and working on my technique as well as my bag of tricks, mainly spinning and corks with grabs, i want to nail 4 or 5 gnarly urban rails too and i think i'll take a few trips to valdez and haines, maybe cordova, i want to be all over the place, i also plan on doing the king of the quad comps and any other big air comp offered within AK, what about you guys?

 
yeah sounds like a awesome plan

I did the king of quad comps and always messed up and sucked em up, so i will be looking forward to kick ass in those next season and hopefully tons of skiiers do it so it becomes a fun event for skiiers.

i do plan on flying ot cordova to ski, that would be sick because my dad has a plane and we could fly there. 100 bucks and you can have the seat next to me, haha just joking but i hopefully get there somtime this season, because in the freeze magazine, there is sick shit of evan raps and cr johnson up there.

i also here there is a lift there?????

yea i def. need to work on style, but right now in my skill level i'm concerned with just pulling off bigger tricks and switch stuff, i'll keep style in mind for my small spins/corks/flips with grabs but otherwise i still gotta learn 10's and rodeos

 
im not gonna do king of the quad cmps this year just cuz if you dont bust out in them, everyone thinks you suck, and i personally dnt like he jumps up top, so i will be spending my time in the park. Im gonna do all the 1/2 pipe comps, slopestyles, and big airs. im also going o USFSO again, as well as the X Qualifiers. I will be heading to the Veggitate slopestyle in the spring in Oregon. I am planning a trip to either colorado or whistler over thanksgiving to give me a little one up on everyone else here cuz there wont be that much snow.

i want to get good at unnatural and get more style in my switch corks.

i plan to just huck into powder mostly in the backcountry, im staying away from aley. I really wanna get better at cliffs and tech lines as well as tricks, im not super focused on style just tucked up spins and layed out backflips and i hope landing a corked 7 is on the horizon. I might do king of the quad if i learn some new tricks.

 
thanks corked180 for understanding that you re gay and nobody wants to ski with you at alyeska so i have no regrets that your leaving.

probably ski aly and hike turnagain as much as possible
but in 02-03, i think i skied my first double black diamond in juneau
