Planning trip to Mammoth

Should I gamble and plan a trip to mammoth in may? From what I heard it has been super warm and most of the snow is melting away. I have to cancel a couple things in advance in order to have the time to go on the trip..Should I?

None of my obligations are too important but I would have to notify them sooner rather than later
 
I dunno man, it's been mid 60s for a while and May is still a ways out. I'm dubious Mammoth will make it that long.
