Hey guys me and a buddy are doing a mountain collective trip this year. Big sky - Jackson hole - Alta - Snowbird - Snowbasin - and Sun Valley. It looks like you guys get your most snowfall on average in Jan and Feb.

When would you suggest planning the trip? Would any time in Jan or Feb work? Or is it better to go around March when more of a base is settled?

Thanks!

I am going to Utah and Colorado in mid January.

As of right now snowbis dumping up in the mountains. Im heading to Breck and Park City and Im confident im going to be jumping in powder 2018-2019

I’d say end of February is prime time. Definitely not early January or anything before. Tons of rocks and big sky is full of shale

go in march you'll ski slightly heavier pow or may b spring corn i don't think you could go wrong

sounds like someone bought a mountain collective pass!

Hahaha yup, we get it every year for the Canadian resorts but never did the USA trip. This will be the year.

Thanks for all the responses sounds like we will be planning for right around late February

The help is super appreciated
