So NS I'm Australian and I'm going to the US from the 12th of Jan to the 20th of Feb.

Right now I have return flights to Denver and I'll spend a week in probably Steamboat but the rest of my trip is open. I've been to the US a few times but what do you guys think I should see this trip? I'm open to any suggestions. My budget is pretty open and I don't want to ski the whole time.

Go to Vancouver, BC, then Bellingham, then Seattle, then Portland/mt.hood. Tons of NSers and tons of skiing. Also you'll get laid.
 
I would bounce between Utah, CO, WY, and ID for some rad skiing and sightseeing. Maybe do some sweet tours in UT and CO, go explore the Denver nightlife (if youre 21 and if there is any nightlife), head up to the Teton Range for some rad skiing, and then just explore.
 
I would suggest hitting up utah and then head out to California, up through oregon idaho montana then back to Colorado. A whole Western US tour
 
Besides obvious visits to the West coast (I'd go for Colorado and Cali), maybe check out some places in the Northeast like Maine and maybe Vermont. It's beautiful.
