I kinda feel like plaid flannel shirts might be either a) a sort of up-and-coming trend or b) an old trend that im just catching onto. either way im gonna buy a couple and i was wondering where i would go about doing so. i saw some on LL Bean but im not really trying to pay $25 for a shirt i feel like i could find elsewhere for much cheaper.
anyone rock these on occasion? lumberjack steeze?

People have been wearing flannel shirts for quite a bit longer than you or I have been alive

so heres the deal

1. quit being a trend whore

2. Go to value village or salvation army or some shit and pick up some flannels on the cheap because they are comfortable, warm and you like how they look

I've been rocking flannel shirts for years and I'm pissed that its getting popular... but whatever, they're warm and sweet and I'm gonna keep wearing them. I'm pretty sure all the ones I own are from St. Vinnies or WalMart, way cheaper them the new 'fashionable' ones.

screw that flannels are the shit i'm rocking mine right now.

i get all of mine at goodwill and other thrift stores, the one i'm wearing was only 6 bucks and it is awesome.

and i'm not a trend whore i've been wearing them for a while

Been really popular in NY for about 2 years, started catching on in LA about a year and a half ago. NY kids wear them in a more grunge style and I'm guessing they all come from thrift stores. LA guys dont wear them so much, more plaid beach style shirts. LA girls took the plaid flannel and started wearing them with dresses and such with a nice belt over them. I like the style for the plain fact that I love printed fabrics. Anyway, I expect it to start going away after this winter in NY/LA but will be trendy in the Midwest come next year.
I can state that the mustache is making a full fledged come back on both coasts.

Go to a thrift store.

Best ones there.

I usually only wear them under my coat during shred. soo warm.

im really into flannels. they are mad comfortable and keep you warm. we had lumberjack wednesdays at my old high school where every dude put on some flannel and acted like a true woodsman.i got the trend going again this year and its fucking greati reccomend you go to walmart. they have them there for $8-10

wow, you want to start wearing them just because its a trend....damn man. ive always loved flannel shirts, i wear them like 2x a week. so fuzzy and warm, they look dope too. i just find mine at random sales and shit.

As in a trend, yes, it is newer. In general flannel plaid has been around for probably over 100 years. Ild say plaid makes a comeback every 10 years or so.
Now90's grunge80's whats his name in pretty in pink totally rocked the red flannel as did the fellow in the breakfast club. I was still playing with my lite bright at this point so I can't really recall. 70's well, every print was in60's not 100% here50's and earlier loggers and such was still a happening thing.

man, ive been wearing them for years. just cuz hipster culture made them "cool" again doesnt mean theyre a new trend, they always have been and always will be rad. no hate on hipsters, i kinda am one.

look at N.W.A. and Eazy E, shits been cool for a long, long time, aint goin nowhere.

wal mart has tons of awesome canvas/flannel based work gear that's almost totally windproof and would look super sick out on the hill, plus it's all cheap as fuck
im talking like down canvas vests with built in cotton hoods and flannel sleeves for 15 bucks...they have tons of that kinda shit

woo! got me red, blue, green and silver! all 3x mofucka. gonna look sick with my tight khaki color pants jea.

dude, 25 dollars is cheap as shit for a shirt, and 25 dollars is such a meager price when you consider what kind of quality you are getting from LL Bean.

Ya, you can rock em, most people just look like a douche though. My friend from high school always wears them and he's like 6'2 140 lbs and he just looks ridic.
