Places to stay for hood.

I've stayed in govy a few times, if you can get a group goin there's plenty of houses to look at. Staying in a team house is definitely a lot of fun.

im going to be out there all summer and trying to get a spot in sandy, govy, pretty much anywhere as long as it is prety close. Anyone know of some apartments or anything??

rent a house in govy, stay in sandy, or there is a whole load of campsites near govy. car camping is legit, i know some people who do it and they say it it works great.

if your tryina live like a hoodrat u could always get a spot at the summits, pretty cheap but the living conditions are gnar

Lots of folks just camp, so that's an option if you're rough and ready. A step up from that (not a big step) is the Summit apartments.

Getting some guys together to rent a house is IMO the best option, it's not always the cheapest but if you pack a few people in it can work quite well. One landlord to try is "An Oregon Experience" which manages several homes in Government Camp, Welches, Sandy etc. Just make sure to communicate courteously and professionally as the local landlords are usually not loath to rent their homes to a gaggle of untidy ski bums.

just get a big-ish tent and post up at the airstrip for free. The weather, especially in July, can be excellent.
