Places to Camp in Tahoe

do you guys know any good places to go camping around Tahoe? im trying to decide whether to go to tahoe or santa cruz. im not talkin about like real do it yourself camping...just a place where we can camp and get fucked up.
 
there are a bunch of camp grounds around the lake. you can go off roading anywhere and just park your car and camp, but you aren't supposed to have a fire. nevada beach is always sweet but i think you need reservations this time of the year.
 
i mean if you don't actually want to go real camping, first of all you're missing out cuz the tahoe area is just too dope for that kinda stuff.  but if you just wanna get fucked up then go to south shore.  there's a million campgrounds by the lake and you can just walk to town to get food.

 
ya well unfortunately i dont have the time/equipment/money to buy the equipment needed for real camping. we were thinkin about goin to santa cruz so its between tahoe and there.
