Places to bike in tahoe!

hey guys! just got a 09 stinky and am taking it to Tahoe with me, so stoked. I'm going to be there all next week, and want to find places to ride as close as possible to south Lake Tahoe. I'm going up to Northstar for a few days like last year, that place is a blast, but i looked on their site and they only run on the weekends apparently, so i need somewhere else to ride! is there anything to hit in town? like at all? because I'm staying in town and would love to be able to ride to djs or even a skate park if it comes to that. any help would be soooo much appreciated, hit me back with a pm or post here i guess!

also i already searched and couldnt find anything on the subject. thanks!
 
i live like an hour away from south shore, there is some okay riding at jenkinson lake (sly park). what you looking fo? like jumps or downhill?
 
my cousin who lives in tahoe is visiting right now, i'll ask him tomorrow about some spots, mostly xc riding tho
