hey im planning on coming out around july and staying for like a month. anyone know where i can stay or anyone got a place like less than 30 minutes from the mtn??? thanks alot!!

dude, if your gonna ski for only a month in the summer, go to whistler. hood's tickets are over 35 $ a day, and it is super hard to poach. you cant do it more than once a week. plus government camp doesnt have much to offer for sleeping, unless your gonna live there for a few months. last summer i was at a friends cabin that was five minutes from the hill, and knew kids that had to live in Welches (40 minutes from the hill). im having trouble figuring out my plans for the summer in hood, and might just go to whistler where it is super easy to find a spot to crash, and only 200$ american for a seasons pass. good luck trying to survive in OR, you should truly check out WHistler...

 
i have a cabin in govt. camp which is like a couple minutes from the mountain, my brother and some of his friends are staying there for most of the summer...

mt hood has some really nice campgrounds too, it would be really nice, and its usually sunny but if the weather gets crappy your outa luck unless your a hardcore camper

ive slept in my car some there...its pretty badass...lots of peanut butter an jelly.

there's a bunch of weird hippy tents out in the woods behind govy... go out there and find one and live in one of those... i tried to blow one up with a sparkler bomb once. it didn't work.

 
the reason it didnt work was because hippie tents are indestructable. hippies have an impenetrable force field of protection. one time a hippie's force field wanst working though, so i kicked his ass.
