Everyone remembers the stoke on olsson's kang flip and how he won everything for a good season with it. By the end, everyone was tired of it and was begging for a new trick.

But , and i love Pk's double more then anything so far, is it possible that we'll see him throwing it repeatedly this year, winnning everything and making us wish he'd change trick.

We Lining up for another jon-olsson-kang like era? thoughts?
 
imo PK's is sicker than Jon's. I'm sure people will get sick of it, but look at it from PK's eyes. If you had a banger trick that no one else touches, with amazing style, that could win you thousands of dollars over and over, why wouldnt you do it? I'm stoked on it, i think its nuts, only time will tell if people get tired of it though.
 
i doubt the same thing will happen that happened with the kangaroo. when jon was throwing those, his was pretty much the only double that wasn't a double back or front. now, there are so many people throwing so many different doubles. pk's is sick, but because so many people have so many different double variations, it'd be hard for him to win all the competitions. but that's just my two cents
 
yea totally agree the doubles area of the sport is blowin up so i think people will be innovative and it wouldnt be so rare to see one like during the time of the kang
 
ya i think this has happened before jon and will happen after pk. people get bored and the sport progresses every year.
 
if hunder can continue to consistently stomp that trick with that amount of style, he deserves to win. thats the coolest fucking trick ive ever seen. i mean, cork 7 to cork 3 what the fuck
 
^i was under then impression people were calling it a double, at least judges and commentators have been, but i see what you mean, compared to webster's double, pk's isnt very doubly namean?( not as much invertage)

so should it be called a double?
 
nah this is deff a double cork... Jacobs is a dub flip... tahts what makes PK's so dope is he doesnt flip.. he puts 2 different cork tricks together.. prolly the most illin thing ever.. i think his dub cork is the best out of ne ones including dub flips
 
it is wayyyyyyyyyyy harder then a kangaroo though. the amoutn fo people that learned kangaroos( UGHHH i hate that fucking name) the year after jon was insane. i will be reallllllly impresssed if soemone can mimick PK's dub cork. he does cork twice, its jsut so faint its hard to tell, which is WAY sicker then getting mroe inverted, and way harder. i am interested to see if people get sick of it though...i watch it daily haha.
 
I love watching him do that, PK is so sick, as far as him doing that trick all year i definately think he'll mix other stuff in as well but you have to admit its so sick
 
uve done a dub cork tho n it doesnt seem too hard..first three u throw forward like a normal cork then throw it back more like a flatspin for the last seven. i'll prob try it this season
 
also it's worth remembering that so far he's only had the chance to throw them on city jumps and it's already ridculously sick. imagine how good his doubles will be when he throws them over a massive kicker...

IMO it is truly the sickest trick ever, the second cork is sooo late with super high mute held all the way through, there is no topping this trick right now.
 
He takes one to 12 in Claim off a Keystone booter with Colby absolutely killing the shot with the air followcam. Such a sick trick.
