so i know turntables are the shit but how are pivots in comparison. they seem very similar excelt pivots have stronger larger arms. are pivots better than scratch/px 12 bindings. +k for info

I ride Rossi power 140s and love them. Durable, nice din for how I ride, plus they have vertical release, plus you can actually buy wide brakes for them.

They have been look bindings since the 50s, FKS since the 90s. I prefer to stick to the Look terminologies.

i just remembered that when i went to busch gardens( amusement park) a month ago they have this ride called alpinegeist which is a skiing themed roller coaster and by the ride they have old straight skis mounted up for decorations and then i noticed that one of them had turntables! these were the first turntables i had ever seen and they were ancient look bindings. the toe was squarish and the boner heel peice didnt even have a din thing to adjust. o ya and the brakes were like a seperate part from the binding. the brakes were mounted betweeen the toe and heel and they were mounted backwards. then i found a beautiful red pair in a unnel that were pretty nice. do you think it wouuld be worth it to unscrew these and jack em to use as a bakyard binding?

haha i always end up confusing other people with the p terminology, fks, pivots, and px are what i use, whenever i tell people i have p15's they always think i'm talking about pivots

OK so Pivot refers to a look binding with a turntable heel (equivalent to fks) where as px refers to a fixed heel correct?

look used to make p15 and p18 bindings, those were the same as the fks 155/185. Look also made p10/12/14s, those both have pivot heels also, but they are a different design than the fks. Rossi's versions or the p10/12/14 series were call the power series, hence power100/120/140s.
and yes, px refers to the modern fixed heel look bindings. Axial2s are the same thing as the px series.

No they arent that bad, but people love their FKSs and Pivots more than the PXs.
I also think that some people hate on the PXs cause they replaced the older pivot series.
The PXs kill it one pow sticks.

Best bindings out there today.

Ya for sure if you're skiing, weight isn't that big of a deal but at a lot of ski areas out west, at least that I have been to there is a lot of hiking that can be done to get the goods this is where the weight starts to add up. That and hiking jumps.

i think the universe would be complete if tauren druids could have griffon mounts, starvation would be over, aids would only be in kenya, swine flu would be gone, war would stop, etc.
loser........tehehe

The Power series was also interchangeable with the "axial" series, also a reason for the "Axial2" designation on the PX heel rossis.
