Pivots and brake width....

I’ve seen so many threads on this but I want to clarify. Specifically P15s. The 95 brakes will fit up to 108 and the 115 will go down to 110 without being to large for the ski. My general size area is 104-108 which is good for the 95 but in the future or in case I change my mind should I go for a 115? This will lead me to having to get a wider ski (108+) but is it worth it?

Idk why you’re thinking that far ahead brotha. You’re correct in that 95s work up to 108 or so, and 115s are good from 110 up. I wouldn’t overthink things, if you like skis that are 104-108 just buy 15s with a 95mm brake. If you do end up getting wider skis just buy wider brakes

Because I found a pair of Pivot 15s brand new for $260 on a real website... may Just get 115 brakes and get a wider ski.

Why buy pivots just to buy pivots? It seems like you’re buying them to buy them, which also means you’ll have to get wider skis which seems unnecessary.

Because of the CAST system. And a 110+ ski may not be bad for the PNW and I focus more to all mountain than park.
