So I just bought a pair of invaders and ive been looking at the Look Px 12 jib bindings but i am not really sure on what pivot bindings exactly do so if you could tell me the difference that would be sick thanks

PX12's have a fixed heel - no pivot

THe older P12's had a pivot heel where there was around 30degrees of pivot either way in the heel (can't remember exactly how much)

then there was the FKS series whcih have a 360degree turntable heel

Current PX series are good durable, reliable bindings with multidirectional release in the toe and i think 45mm of elastic travel in the heel, amongst other things - a fairly safe binding for park and a good combo for invaders.

PX have been out for a few years now, so the ones you are looking at are probably not the pivot heel - post a pic/link if you like

Yeah they are fixed heel - nothing to worry about though, there was obviously a decent reason why Rossi replaced the pivot heel with the PX series (Although i'm yet to know a decent one)

Its way cheaper to make for them, and they can still sell it for around the same price = more profit for them, plus its still a safe binding.
