Hey, I can get myself on a pair of Pivot 18 forza for 299$. Is that a good deal or I should wait for the pivot 15 coming ?

Not especially, I'm usually between 11-12 but I want that metal toe piece from the 18 or 15. And i saw that for the moment the 15 is 399$ and I can get the 18 for 299$ so any thoughts ?

Feel like that’s a pretty standard price, wouldn’t say it’s really a steal.

As the post above me said, figure if you need 18s. If not you can probably get some great deals on 12s / 14s going into summer sales

Do you blow a lot of bindings up?

Do you have a personal preference towards Pivots? Personally, I'm not a fan. Tyrolia Attack 16s have worked better for me. Based on a quick search, they seem to be ~$250-$300.

No, i never had pivots before. I was on griffon 13 and warden mnc 16 but what makes you not like the pivots ?

I know a few people who ski on higher than 12, and they're big (physically large) burly shredders. It is literally more dangerous for them to have their ski pop off on a shelf than for their knee to be torn to shreds. I would recommend reconsidering your DIN crankage unless you are one of these people, be realistic. The 14s are awesome, although the gold 15s looks super cool and I want them

Why not go for the 14s that are dirt cheap? Saves weight too. Slopestyle has them for $180 right now.

if you're truly within the DIN range, sure grab them. if you're not big and really aggressive, the 15s are probably a better fit but i don't think we'll see those on sale for a long time and their retail price is $399

I snagged a brand new pair from evo that were listed at $212 (Im assuming they were a returned pair cause I never saw them below $230 before and this specific pair was previously sold out) plus I had a discount code that dropped them down a bit more on top of that. So imo $300 isnt a great deal but its better than paying msrp. Also looks like levelninesports.com has them for $240

Dont buy them ever unless theyre under 250 new. You can find gently used normally for 200$

i'm really hoping someone buys gold pivot 15s this fall, immediately dies or something (whatever works), and i get them for a steal. i just can't justify spending $400 retail on bindings

If you’re a big enough baller to be rocking gold chrome pivots then the price tag isn’t even a thing
