Shop put me on a 6.5 din would it be fine to ride pivot 15s since they start at 6 ?or would it be a bad idea

do you have the 15s already? if so 100% go with that. if you're still deciding to buy, 12s vs 15s, you can go either way

don't overthink it! both will work great for you

Had 12s but I broke them it would be for next season once I get my money up ? thinking of upgrading to 15s cause I heard they are bomb proof

word. both are great but yeah i mean my metal pivots always last forever, through multiple pairs of skis, more so than other bindings (YMMV of course, and pivots arent the only nice burly bindings out there)

so yeah i'd say just keep your eye out and see what looks best for you. you might see a great deal on the 12 or the 15 or both in the offseason which might help you make your decision-- since this is for next season you're in kind of a good position to be patient and wait for good offseason deals

When the shop set mine at 7 I had to bump it up to 8 cause I was ripping them off on grabs, so watch out for that

I meant Pivot 12, not DIN at 12. You don't wanna be at the very bottom of the DIN range like that.

it really doesn’t matter tbh, i’m pretty sure that is just theory
