Pivot 14 din setting

I just got some pivot 14s and i have heard different things about how to set the dins. I am advised by the machine to set my dins at 9 but I usually run 10 on a marker griffon. Do you dial down what you usually run by a little with the pivs? I like my acl

Keep em low and ski light, get a feel for it. Cant always trust them machines.

Din is an industry standard. Not sure off the top of my head what the foot pounds is but a 10 din for marker is the same as a 10 din for fks and pivots. Have a shop adjust them for you. Its hard for a shop to adjust din for freestyle. Start at what they set them at and then raise the din in 1/2 or full level increments depending on how easily you pre release.

If you have any doubts stay with what the shop says.

I find I can generally run a lower din with pivots without pre-releasing than other bindings due to the elasticity. Start at recommended and see if you have any issues.

If you don't know maybe go to a shop? If not then definitely start low and work your way up. Usually better to pre-release than break your leg.
