Pitchfork Kanye 10/10 Discuss

I think it's pretty worthy of it. Although, I don't lurk pitchfork much, is a 10 really rare? How often does it happen?
 
I was just about to make a thread on this.

The more I think about it, the more confused I get. I've listened to the album a few times and it's good, but not that good. A 10/10 is something that should be sacred. Maybe it's a conspiracy? I don't know, but people will be talking about this for a while.
 
Pitchfork gives 10/10's extremely rarely. You either have to be the Beatles or else it's given ironically. Fuckin hipsters.
 
pitchfork and spin should be made to choke to death on pbr and ironic mustache hair...and this is coming from someone who likes indie music.
 
I think Kanye's was the 12th (?) new album to be given a perfect 10 from pitchfork (others have gotten them later on). It definitely doesn't fit with the other albums but who am I to judge? Maybe I'm just not listening to it right.
