Be careful who you go and accuse of being a fair weather fan, most of us here in michigan stick it out with our teams, we may realize that at certain times our teams are no good, but that in no way shape or form makes us fair weather fans. Detroit has the best fan base for sports in the nation. I hate baseball but i still root for the tigers, the lions havent done shiot in years but i will sit and watch every game and hope, the wings tried to buy the cup, do i agree with that, no but i will still root for them. And then there is the pistonsthe team that has always held tyhe most potential since i was 8.

I would go as far as to say there is only one other fan base in the entire world better than detroit... the manchester united!
