are they measured any different from other skis? i have 179 pistols and this guy was like ya there really like 185 because the way they measure the pistols

 
ya thats right, k2 measures the running surface, my 189 pistols actually stand 197 cm tall.

ok i was wondering about that because i have 189 pistols and they are way longer than my buddy's 192 line motherships

Why do your skis curve up on both ends?
 
Ya take a tape measure and measure the whole base of the 189 pistols, bigger than you think.

my pistols are only a tiny bit bigger than my 177 1080s.

I feel bad for people who don't drink, cause when they wake up in the morning, thats the best the're going to feel all day
 
yrah, my 179s are pretty small for me now. i wish they had em in 185 or something.

just break em' and get the 05's. much stiffer and will ski differently.

what would the 159 measure at, anyone know? a friend of mine is getting the pes in that size and if there too long she might not be able to get them. I have the 189s, thats crazy that there actually 197

 
thats wierd that there is such a big difference. pes arnt messured that way i wonder why they did it for the pistols

its measured that way on all k2 skis because the twin tips are so much more twin tipped than any other ski.
