I have a pair of Pistols that I have had for a year now. I was hitting some backcountry and I scrapped a section of the top sheet off. About the size of a penny. The core is still covered by some laminant but u can see the core. Is there anything I can do to cover this up to make sure That I dont reach the core and get it water logged?

epoxy would work i think. i have some on the sidewalls of my public enemies and it holds nice. im not sure if you can use p tex to fix the topsheet but id imagine that it would work. thats a bit trickier though.

I also have some pistols and used some two part epoxy to patch up some spots, worked perfectly.

Choose something that has extra strength, That way it will hold under more pressure and in colder conditions I used something that worked under 2500 psi and -65 degrees.
