Pistols and Randonee

I have some pistols from last year with Salomon bindings, but I am going on a backcountry trip and want some advice: Should I get randonee bindings (I'm thinking the Fritschi Freeride's) and replace the Salomon's with those, or would I be better off with Alpine trekkers? How is the release on the randonee's - do they release as well as normal bindings? Also, if you guys have suggestions as to what skins will work with my pistols that'd be awesome. Thanks.

If you're going on one backcountry trip then just get trekkers and some skins. If you plan on skiing in the BC a lot then get the Fritchi bindings (you'll only need the freeride if you ski a din over 10). You'll waste money on the Fritchi if you only need them for one day...

go to the TGR forums - a lot of guys there do a lof of BC stuff so they'll have the answers for you.
