Pistol vs Scratch BC

depends of how big your mountain is. the Scratch BC is narrower than the Pistol. I hear the Pistol is purty soft in flex, course I hear the same thing about the Scratch BC. Get Pistols

pistols... and whats wrong with soft? they kill it anywhere you go. you can rip arcs on groomers, bounce around in shitty old cement powder or rock the big lines like seth. pistols are the best ski ive ever had.

Dude get the pistols, after 3 days on them and in them with 80 cm of fresh these skis are so fun in the powder. A feeling that you cant describe with the pistol, in super deep pow you can turn them like the spatula, hard to explain buy get a pair then you will notice it. These skis also ripped the choped pow, just bombs right through them and super stable.

do the pistols perform alright in the park? ive seen a few people in videos and shit riding them in park, i was just wondering if they were good or not

 
solid in the park... a little fat for the pipe... but obviously rails are easier with the surface area under foot... and theyre cool in the air... you just kind of float.

I bought both, both are super duper, but for your intended purposes I'd say the pistols but if your paying retail the pistols are nearly 2 bills more.

 
OK, I thought the scratch BC was really not a great ski. I skied it on groomers, and was amazed. Super stable, in the air its so smooth and sturdy. NO complaints at all. Super sick ski, and might i add, nice NHO on the female counterpart.

Never tried the pistols tho.

BC's are very solid skis but the Pistols are where it's at.
