Piste/Park/Pow ski?!

Hi, I'm after some advice on new skis.

I'm currently riding on Rossignol Scratch FS (one's with yellow/black police tape)

I enjoy using them, but I want something different.

Next year I'm going to Big White, Canada for 3 months, and I will be skiing 1/3 piste, 1/3 powder, 1/3 park.

Age - 18

Height - 5.11

Level - Highh

Cheers.

well big white is a sick resort for snow so you will probably get a good amount of pow.. in which case unless you big on spinning fast in the park go for something fat.. you'll get used to fatties on piste no problem if you can ski.. i ride lizzies all over most of the time.. but they will be a bit short for you so i'd go for bacons.. the lizzies are super stable on landings and on rails so bacons will be the same i'd imagine..

The fattest ski I have owned has been 84 under foot, so it's gonna be weeeeird I imagine.

Also, my skis are 167 in length, so anything bigger than that will also feel weird.

I live in the UK, so I don't ski on mountains as often as you guys (hence only 1 pair of skis)

But I'm gonna be in Canada for 3 months as said, so this is why I want a different ski.

Hopefully they let you ski before you buy in the resort I'm going to, so I'll be able to try the Lizzys and the Bacons and see which best suits.

But by then there may be more skis out that I want to try.

alright mate? im from the uk as well.. so we got some common ground.. i moved from salomon 1080s (161) to lizzies and its not as wierd as you might think.. if you can test the lizzies and the bacons then that'll be good.. if you want something a bit narrower, seths are nice and narrower again anthems.. for pow though i think you will want the length.. im only 5'8 - 5'9 and skinny too and i think for pow the bacons woulda been better than my lizzies.. the skis i've mentioned are ones i've ridden except for the bacons but rossi scratch steezes are pretty good i found them quite a lot of ski for me but still.. lots of options have a sick season i'm stuck in uni very jealous
