Pissed off sales man

if your using one of those for jibbing you ripped yourself off, you can mount your own bindings if the holes are there already, no need for safety on jib skis

the reason stuff usualy costs more in the shop is because your not just paying for the product, your paying for the employees expierence, and their knowledge, people come into the shop all the time and ask us tons of questions, have us size them up, and then they run off and buy their shit cheap online, when you buy from a shop your buying their services not just the product, if you buy from us we'll help you out no prob if ur shit breaks and we will tune u up cheap and mount free, why should a shop cater to someone who is just grabbin the deals online?

Dear East_Coast_Destruction,

You are a gigantic dickhead. We all remember the NS contest last year where you lied so that you could win the free Dynastar Belanger's, saying that you did not have skis and your parents would not buy you skis, when, in fact, you owned several pairs of perfectly good skis and were on your way to owning several more.

You are, quite, possibly, the biggest, most obnoxious gear-whore to ever grace this website of 70,000+ members. Your incessantly idiotic threads about which pair of skis you should have mom and dad buy you next, or which 7 lenses you should get for your 4 different pairs of goggles, or whether the pants you just bought will sag as much as Pete Olenick's do, because you bought the exact same model you saw him wearing (of course).

I, for one (and who's with me?), am fully sick of your spoiled ass coming on here and throwing an e-fit every time you don't get your way with ski equipment, or when a movie ships to your house 45 minutes later than the companty promised. You are a detriment to our sport, and I wish nothing but pain and bloodshed upon you and your entire household.

Love,

Teddy

P.S. If you don't already have a pair, you should get Prophets, you could probably use them for urban or something.

If you'd bought the skis there the shop would already have made maoney off you, bu since you didn't the have to make money somehow, otherwise they're just doing free labor.

yes the pair of ivaders which cost me a whole $300 and used TM's which were $40 along with the used Big Troubles i own def. make me the biggest gear whore on the site. Instead of bitching you should be thankful that kids like myself spend lots of their hard earned money on skiing and help the sport out. Incase you didn't realize my dad took the pic with me which helped me win the belans (which i sold for invaders) , but he was serious. My dad stopped buying my gear when he realize that i destroyed them so easily and it cost him way to much. By the wasy i'm pretty damn sure you probablly entered the contest and didn't need skis along with a handful of others but unfortunatley you were not original/good enough to win. better luck next time fuck bag.

P.S. Prophets are actually the next ski on my list of gear to buy.

I did not enter the contest. I am angry for everyone else who did, and was cheated out of a chance to win because you are a bad person.

Don't try to tell me I'm unhappy with my own ski gear. I work all summer so that when fall rolls around I can replace what gear needs to be replaced, and not a whole lot more.

If you destroy gear so easily, maybe it's because you don't realize that you need to respect it because your parents buy you everything you own.

Also, don't think that you are "helping out the industry" by buying these things... Dynastar's not exactly a struggling ski company or anything. They could give two fucks whether you bought a pair of Big Troubles.

You lucky son of a bitch!! I have one pair of skis. What the hhell do you need three pairs for anyways. Maybe two, powder and feeride but three. What are you some sort of racer. A training pair comp pair aditional comp pair just in case.

If beign a bad person gets me skis than fuck it, i'll be bad. I truely am touched by the fact that you work all summer, it must be quite the feeling knowing that you've raised enough money for a pair of skis. According to you, a person who knows me oh so well, i wouldn't know what that's like because my parents buy me everything. It seems like you have it rough..God forbif if your parents spend $500 dollars on you. I can completely understand why yours wouldn't thouigh because your probablly an unbelieveably huge fuck up. But any how, If you don't break skis and you ski park/urban as much as i do your not skiing good enough. And for your information none of my money went to dynastar, i bought them used off of someone who gets them for free.

You want prophets for east coast? You are probably one of those dorks that can't even turn judging by how much of a gear slut you are trying to look like pros etc.

People like you making working in shops almost unbearable for those of us who actually care.

I hope you blow your knee.

You stupid ass fuck. If I ever meet you I'm going to punch you in the stomach. You essentially just stole $20 out of that shop guys pocket. It takes time for him to mount your shit and how is he suppose to make money if dickweeds like you dont pay.

As for the rest of you stupid fucks who buy there shit online and bitch that they have to pay to get your skis mounted. Fuck you. Support your local shop, cause those are the guys who save your skis when you have a warranty issue or when you rip your edge out, or when you need a boot fitter to make your boots that you bought online feel better.

This thread has pissed me off and makes me remember why I hate retail so much. So fuck all you hoes who buy your shit online.

^You rule. The shop I've worked at for the last 3 years just went out of business thanks to assholes who don't support their local shops and order online just to save a few dollars.

Well the last time I checked that's not really putting money into the skiing community... Actually that's the farthest thing from it. Dude you have been called out and we all realize it so just please stop trying to swim upstream; it really is simply a loosing battle.

yeah i noticed also how you are "putting money into the industry" but at the same time bought your skis second hand from a guy who gets em free.

Get a life and get real. Props to the guys who understand what a retailers has to put up with.

If you'd have come to my shope I would have mounted you and thrown your bindings out..........

haha my dads best friend is the techie at my mtn, so i get all mine free and on the spot. so i can bring in new skis, give them to him, go get ready, come back, take the newly mounted skis, and go ski em.

okay common whats the extra 60$ to u lol.. if u had the money to buy 3 pairs of skis u should beable to come up with a minor 60 bucks

$30 canadian at snowcovers, but it's worth it since I actually trust that they won't fuck it up like sportchek or fuck me over like comor. Or at least they haven't yet.

i dont know why you're complaining. you should have supported the shop anyways. then you would have saved that 60 bucks and probly paid about the same amount as buying them online. here's the best advice. stop being so jewish, and buy stuff from shops occasionally.

it took them 2 weeks to get my skiis done. people had there skiis in after me, and got them out before me. i am not going back to that place again

i work at a shop.

probably would have mounted 3 pair of unbought ski's for 19.99 and a case of Fat Tire.

Know and RESPECT your teech shop boys they will hook you up.

green cards rule!!

The only beef i have with one of the local shops here is that they won't mount my skis period. I fully understand the reason why they mount for free when you buy from them, but WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU NOT MOUNT SKIS WHEN PEOPLE ARE GOING TO GIVE YOU MONEY TO DO IT??? I am willing to pay your ass $40+ to have these puppies mounted and you say no. It's money and business that you are depriving yourself of. And it's not even like I bought brand new skis off the net and wanted to get the mounted. I got new boots and needed them remounted to fit the boots. But hey I'll just drive an extra 15 minutes to a different shop.

They might not be certified to do the work. They might not have the jig. It could be that simple. If they don't sell your binding, if they don't have the jig, if they're not certified to mount it, they won't do it, period.

i totally understand that bro, but i called them up asking for the price of remounting my skis and they said they wouldn't do it. I didn't even get a chance to tell them what skis and bidings they were.
