The is a perfect example of why no mass movement like occupy wall street will ever be effective. The majority of people involved are uneducated and just show up to protest what ever they want. They say "we want change" or in this case "we don't want violence" yet they have no suggestions as to how change can be made or points to back their argument, they really have no idea what they are talking about. As a result it is people like this that make a complete mochary of occupy wall street.

8:29 later......the idiot still made no point at all.

You go, protesters, you're gonna change the world like that.

occupy is for a good cause, but mostly its hipsters, highschool kids who just wanted to miss class, and hobos. basically what they have in common is that they don't know what there protesting.

nick fish is on the Portland City Council and hes in charge of the Parks. and he ordered the public bathrooms to be shut down in the two parks that are "occupied"

my god the more of this occupy bullshit i see the more im convinced that 99% of the 99% protesters are complete idiots. i used to think this movement had a little bit of a purpose, just stupid people backing it. now it just seems like a fuck fest of stupidity. nobody knows what they are protesting, and the few who do know what they are protesting, are protesting the wrong thing. if they knew what they were protesting, they wouldnt be occupying wall street, they would be occupying DC.that and they arent making an ounce of a difference, i hate to say it, but you need violence to make a difference, but nobody is willing to risk their life by being violent because nobody feels strong enough about the movement, because nobody knows what the hell its about in the first place.

yeah, sure you may start to think that by watching these videos but if you think about it, no one is going to film them doing the proper things and just like with ANYTHING else out there, there are always a few bad apples in the bunch. yeah, i know, you guys might think they are a bunch of hippies and shit who are "jealous" or whatever the fuck but personally (not even being american or currently living in north america) i think that they are fighting for something that is right and even if you might not agree with all of their political views, you cant deny that the economy in the states is going downhill and it is due to the fact of these guys on wall street fucking tons of people over. thats just my personal opinion, however remember that this protest affects every single one of us, directly or indirectly... at least people are finally standing up for something that is right, but guys like this give them a bad name, just like with the republican party. i dont hate all of them but guys like glenn beck and shit give all of them a bad name.

i went to the occupy denver protest while i was down there just to see what it was like, and while its definitely not on the same scale as wall street or portland, i think it gave me a good idea of the type of people. and it really was a bunch of idiots blabbering on about nothing, most of the people talking or holding signs were just talking about pointless crap like "the rich are greedy" " we need jobs" "violence is not the answer" i saw two guys who talked to me about why the government was more at fault, and i really think they were the only two people i saw who had a clue. nobody else seemed to know who they were bitching at, just complaining cause they had nothing better to do.actually my buddy went up to a guy complaining about how the corporations were greedy, all they want is money (no shit) they pay their employees a small fraction of what the CEO's make and asked him for 1/10th of whats in his wallet, obviously he said no, and he said, there, thats greed, your just like those CEOs. i lold.

people need to realize that yes, corporations are greedy, but every single fucking human on this planet is greedy, greed is what motivates us to better ourselves, greed is what motivates us to start business's and create jobs. if any of those hippies at the protest became the CEO of a large corporation, they would quickly see that it needs to be operated in a similar way. yes there are some shady things that they are able to get away with, yes there needs to be some change in wall street, but most of the problems, and our entire shit economy stems from our government. and thats what we need to be protesting.

like i said, i like the movement, even if it is just occupy wall street, i think good could come out of it, but when we see that the majority of the protesters are idiots who dont know what they are complaining about, and just want and opportunity to bitch. it can have the opposite effect. if some big wall street company said "ok occupy wall street, tell us what you want and we will do it" first of all it would be almost impossible for people to agree on what they want, there are so many different and opposing views in the movement, and a lot of ridiculous views. but when they finally did agree on something that company would probably be done within a week.

if the protesters got their way, and the corporations did change, id be surprised if there were any improvement. and not the opposite.

that and the whole 99% thing is retarded. the 1% are the people paying your taxes and creating your jobs and paying you money. if you just got rid of the 1% and gave the country to the 99% our country would fail.

there is nothing more pathetic than unintelligent people trying to make profound statements about politics and society. what a retard.

well that is america. . if i was there i would have walked up to that guy and pulled my cock out and said.. hey. this is happing . this is real.. i just beat the 1%

I'm part of the 99% that can't walk through these 2 fucking parks near my home and office Because they are a fucking shanty town now. I'm also part of the 99% whose fucking tax money is going to be needed to return these parks back to their former condition. All so a bunch of fucking degenerates could pretend they represent me.

Guy at 5:52: "I used to have a $400,000 house"

You can't just pick and choose when you like capitalism. I'm almost certain that he wasn't moaning about capitalism when he was living in his nice home. You can translate 'anti-capitalism' as 'being pissed at capitalism because it's not giving me everything I want anymore'.

It infuriates me that the Occupiers claim to represent the 99% when the majority are well off students, hipsters, or people who have become recently unemployed and feel that society owes them a well-paid job and a huge house in the suburbs. In fact, the real '99%' have accepted that prices are going up and wages are stagnant by working a bit harder, to feed their families.

I know this post is not 100% credible cause it is very hard to tell what the "99%" is fighting for and that's why I have to say it. How is this protest helping the people at all? from what I see it's a bunch of people with no jobs, or nothing better to do protesting against the actual 99% of people who actually work hard everyday to feed themselves, families and as well pay taxes to maintain parks that the people are "occupying". I know Anonymous is partially behind this protest and usually I like the things anonymous does but I hate when people just hop on not knowing what the cause of the protest is and make it look absolutely ridiculous.

do some reserach for yourself. it's raising awareness of political corruption, corporate greed, the centralization of the banking system, etc...

well they're doing a pretty shitty job at it considering it seems that no one knows what the occupy protesters message and wants really are. no wonder they don't have jobs.

Every day occupy loses credibility. Originally its started as the 99 percent against big business... i guess. Now 99 percent are against violence. Whatever bro.

Occupy Lawrence (where the university of Kansas is) They already packed it up because it was too cold. It was 55 degrees last night lol we haven't even gotten snow.
I hope New York gets 9 feet of snow in one day and finally puts an end to all this shit.

that's because they purposely don't want to establish any specifics 'wants" or "messages". i'm not saying i support the idea, but it makes sense if you look at it from their perspective.

No, they're not saying they're changing from being against big business to being against violence, they are saying that they are against violent protests.

There's an occupy movement in the town I live in and it's been getting into the 20's at night and people are still there.

They are lazy fucks. I've seen signs say " where's my job".... Well idiot, your job just got taken by someone who APPLIED for it. I wish I could use my fist of knowledge, wisdom and anti-stupidity to punch every occupier in the face.
