so today i took my dog to the off leash area, about a 10 minute drive from my house. i have been taking him here for the last 5 years.
on the path, i heard someone setting off some fire crackers. didnt really care about it cause i knew it was just kids fucking around. well about 5 minutes later, i noticed like 6 kids up this hill in the trees, having a small fire, nothing huge. we had alot of snow this year, and the ground is still pretty moist, so i knew it couldnt spread. i didnt say anything, because i was once a kid and i didnt want to ruin their fun.
well as im walking back to my car, this man stops me, im kinda walking from the general direction of the kids having the fire/lighting off firecrackers.
this guy was like 45. he comes up to me and this was the convo that insued.
man- hey, kid. stop right now.
i was kinda confused and asked what he wanted, i was being polite.
-yeah dude, whats the problem?
him- ive seen you kids up there lighting of pipe bombs (lol pipe bombs) and starting fires, im going to call the police, you stay here with me.
me- umm, how old do i look? im out here walking my dog. give me a break.
him- wheres your dog?
me(point to my dog like 20 feet away)- right there.
him- thats not yours, how can you afford to take care of that dog?
im starting to get pretty pissed off, hes offended me.
me- what are you talking about? thats my dog, give me a break. i havent started any god damn fires and it really pisses me off that you think that i did. now im going to get my dog and im going to get in my car and go home
him- no, your going to wait here for the police.
me- why? i havent done anything wrong. im not 12 years old starting fires. whats your problem? im just here just like you walking my dog.
him- ive seen you up there.
me (really pissed off)- k man, fuck you. i havent done anything wrong, and your straight up accusing me of this bullshit. im tired of this and im going home. go call the cops, i dont care, i had nothing to do with that fire and those fireworks. whats your problem.?
him- whatever kid. ill call the cops and im getting your lisence plate.
me- laughs. ok man, ill wait for the day. have fun walking your rat of a dog.
i called my dog over and went to my car. the guy watched me and wrote my lisence plate into his phone. i dont know why he was so convinced that i started all that shit, maybe because im a teenager, i have no idea but it really got on my nerves. anyone else have this happen to them?
