So I just got home from it, and I didn't actually think it was all that bad. It dragged on for a while, (168 mins to be exact), and sometimes the plot jumped around and i was confused, but I thought it was a good 3rd installment...

Also, the ending is not at all what I expected it to be from seeing the 1st and 2nd movies, so don't jump to conclusions...
 
well since it goes in the mindless entertainment catagory, I expect nothing when it comes to "good" filmmaking. All I want are fucking pirates dammit! YAAARRRRRRR!
 
ahahah i was supposed to go see it with my mom today (yesterday i suppose), but i forgot and went and played fifa on xbox 360 with my friends then went swimming, and left my phone face down on the carpet so i didn't hear or see the phone ringing (its on vibrate)

so i missed going to see it...
 
they did indeed, but a lot of movies that exist in series end that way as to 'keep the series going', rather than to just have it end. There isn't supposed to be an end to the storyline, so instead of ending it, they just make it seem like it keeps going. Notice how they didn't set it up with anything all that big... unlike the first and 2nd (when barbossa appears again at kalypso's house, etc)
 
Saw it, didn't like it a whole lot. Everyone i went with had no idea what was even going on during the movie, so if you aren't too familiar with the 1st and 2nd, you will be lost in the 3rd one(as with all movie series i suppose)
 
i thought it made no sense and was knid of pointless. but thats what you get with a pirates movie. i think i'm slightly inclined to say this because of how the movie theater dicked me and my girlfriend over. we show up like half an hour early to the 8 oclock showing and its sold out. so we buy tickets to the 930 and go eat then chill at her house till its time to leave. then we get there early cuz she says she wants a good seat in the back. aka a seat to fool around in where less people will see. well they change teh 930 show to the 1000 show so we just go in and sit. its like 9. so yeah, 4 hours in a theater with no play whatsoever will ruin your night
