Pirates of the caribbean: Dead Man's chest

so because it is disney, we should accept mediocrity? Even if it isn't supposed to be completely realistic, it could have been better. I like long movies so I didnt mind that aspect, but it was too much of a buffer between the 1st and 3rd films. Empire Strikes Back, now THAT is a good middle film of a trilogy.
 
im confused, is depp dead? where did that barbossa dude come from? and is elizabeth really in love the jack, not will? what the hells going on
 
we don't know how Barbosa is back...we will find out next movie...Elizabeth is not in love with Jack she did it to trick him to chain him to the ship...so that they could escape...but now feels really guilty about it....and we don't know what has happend Capt. Jack Sparrow...but i would assume that he isn't dead!

 
i think cam was just saying that we shouldn't take it too seriously...it is based on a theme ride at Disney Land.

and if you are trying to compare it to Star Wars, well you can't, completely different type of movie.

it was ok, it was long, but so was the first. i was alittle upset that he was fighting ghosts that look like sea erchants(sp?) but he was fighting skelletons in the first one...so i guess thats not so bad....the movie hasn't really gotten any good reviews, but i liked it. you just can't expect too much cause its a middle movie.

 
I saw it today and well... My hopes were high, so I got kinda disappointed. Left me too many unanswered questions... Damn you Disney, now I gotta see the 3rd film... and well, yeah, it would suck to masturbate with a hook
 
...uhhh then why was the compass always pointing at jack when she had it in her hands?

i personally think it was a good movie like alot of people said it was kind of fillerish, obviously setting up for a 3rd movie. it was almost awkward. like the content of actual movie plot was like a half maybe even a quarter of a film. but they made the film uber long like almost 3 hours.

but anyways, i still greatly enjoyed it pirates fascinate the shit out of me and i just like the general mysteriouness about jack sparrow. like he always leaves me
 
sorry entered it too early but anyways sparrow always leaves me wanting more like i want to know about all these random adventures hes been on and shit like how they start the movie whre he busts out of a coffin and like what was he doing for 13 years when barbosa had the black pearl and howd he meet the like psychic lady ahhhh i fucking love the pirates series i cant wait for the fucking 3rd
 
i think that means thats how she knew it was because of him, it always pointed to him, so they knew where to find him....and thereofore, had to leave him behind...but i could be worng.

the movie was full of random scenes. Fucking sea urchines in pirate costumes. What the fuck is that? The movie had some really cool fight scenes and great graphics but in all , it was a major let down.
 
ya i was high as shit when i went to see it at the first midnight show. i slept through most of it. the storyline was confusing especially since i was baked. i smoked with a couple guys before and every single one of us fell asleep. one of em slept for almost the entire movie.

it was a letdown from what i saw of it. by the end i just wanted to get the hell outta there.
