That's right. Copymism, the belief of piracy supporters, is now officially a recognised religion in Sweden.

According to head priest Isak Gerson "copying and seeding information are an integral part part of our belief.

The act of copying is a very important sacrament of our religion."

Mission statement:

*Copy and seed

*All knowledge for all people

*What technology allows us to create within natural laws, we will not limit with secular laws.

This is actually genius. What they've done here is protect there information by blanketing it under Protection of Religion laws. Brilliant.

Well, in Sweden or Finland they didn't get any representatives in the parliament, not a surprise though.

I'm not surprised the Sweden has a law like this. Everyone there is the same already, piracy falls right in line with their political values.

Sweden is very liberal on the surface. There are large problems ahead and like I said earlier, the Pirate Party didn't even get a single representative in 2010 elections, we'll see how they fare in the next ones.

I mean... its mostly just being a bezerker badass and raping and pillaging everyone. I would have figured stealing digital information would be included in that... and that that's a registered religion in... you know... the country where it was basically created haha.
