r all halfpipes/superpipes icy on the walls? cuz ive been to like three but theyre all in michigan/sault ste. marie, so i dont know if the groomers here are shitty or what. cuz i hate it when i loose my edge on a wall and get a big ass cut on my face from the ice.

if its cold out the wall is hard if its warm out the wall is soft... most of the time

usually the left side wall softens up early in the day, and the right side stays hard til the afternoon when the sun switches sides, and then they reverse

yes all pipes are icy. In the midwest anyway. They're fun in the spring when they get soft. I'm way less intimidated but the transition isn't very good.

blackcomb pipe isnt icy. (most of the time)

you kind of want it to be icy. if one wall if soft though, try tricks on that wall and gain speed on the other.

icy pipes help you to keep your speed throughout your run. Come to the west coast...mammoth always has a perfect pipe. soft enough to try new tricks, but firm enough to boost!
