Pipe ski

iv tryed it and its amazing, iv got a pair on order.

if you want a pair id get your name down tho, cause armada is only making 500 pairs world wide

holy shit was dat what tanna was usin at X? i thot that was like his new pro model, awwww fuck!

salomon candides, crs and sbks are all the same ski and they are a solid pipe ski.

basicaly any stiffer ski with a good edge hold is a good pipe ski.

If you want to boost in the pipe you should have 2 pair of skis if posible and dont hit rails on your pipe ski.

yeah, actually, all the Dynastar "Pro" models are better off than the stock TM. no extra reinforcement underfoot (lighter), more fiberglass (poppier)

All the salomon Lab skis, CR, Candide, SPK

Armada pipe cleaners obviously

pretty much they key factors to a good pipe ski:

sharp edges

fast base (lots of pipe specific skis use high end race bases for this reason)

lots of pop

medium, to fairly stiffer flex for edgehold.

YEAH THE PIPE CLEANERS ARE ILLLLLLL!!!

i got this translated from skipass

Presentation of the manufacturer: Armada Pipe Cleaner the last come in the range Armada, the Cleaner Pipe was developed in great secrecy during these last years. Used of exclusiveness by the TEAM in the major competitions, the ski is available today for all. The Cleaner Pipe has an air of family with the AR6. However, this model brings the speed and the performances of the AR6 to another level, in slightly reduced dimension. By reducing the thickness of the cross-sections and by applying a sole of race, we made PC the fastest ski of the Armada fleet, ideal for those which seek to send in the pipe. Not to limit itself to this only use, we used best materials to make of it a general-purpose ski with a standard width under the foot. Long-lived, nimble and light, the Cleaner Pipe is a fusion between the AR6 for its dimensions, the ARV in terms of versatility, and ski of giant as regards speed. This formula already paid not badly of podiums in superpipes of international fames these two last years. Only 500 pairs available in the world.

man i used the pipe cleaners and i could go 5+ feet higher and land 5s and 7s finally. im deffinatly getting them as my pipe ski next year.

I used to think the TMs were so good in the pipe until I got on something stiffer (chronics) You maintain your composure on a stiff ski way better then on a softer one, in return you should be able to hold speed in the trannies. Definitely if you want to go big in the pipe a stiff ski is important, I think. If you want to just play around and not really boost a soft ski can be a lot more fun.

thats why critchon had his ski made stiffer in the tails and such, make it more stable, but ive never tried any other ski in the pipe than my mike nicks which are real soft on the nose and stiff on the tail, they arent that great for pipe

does anyone else picture the line mavericks when seening this topsheet?

i think its the gradual fade between colors.

not really and i had a pair, i guess the color fade a little bit but line faded the colors with tons of little dots, im not sure if armada did the same for the cleaner and such

I was in a shop and flexed a TM and his promodel... i did not feel any difference in the flex at all.

really? cause i got to try them but just to see them befor armada wanted them out took like 2 weeks of begging to the rep, if he wasnt a friend he prob would have put a restraing order on me

After flexing the new K2 Silencer...I think it'll make a decent pipe ski, but I don't ski that much pipe, so I could be wrong.
