So recentley ive thought about this, how bout bonks and stalls,

how bout a wallride in the pipe some progression for our sport,

anyone know if this has been done at all? I bet some parks out west got some features

but wouldnt it be legit dropping in, only to 27 on a momentum like wallride, rodeo flip off

im thinkin it would be fucking ill. Kinda quarter pipe like, but they could make shit more like vert shit

anyways the weed is talking

thoughts ns?

I made a sweet half pipe in google sketchup once, with jibs on the walls, gaps, and the whole thing turned like 70 degrees about half way down. I'll see if i can find the file, it was pretty cool.

i think quarter pipe with a railable copeing would be dope like skateboarding. is that what you meen?

i think a comp with a pipe with gaps in in would be sick

everyone would be forced into the same amount of hits

although it would be super dangerous

when you think about it, possibilities for pipe are pretty sick, how bout a tranny for last hit after tons of gap rails, and just gaps in the pipe.

wouldnt that be baller, a kangaroo flip over a 15 foot tranny gap

kinda what vert skating has come to, i could see it in pipe. at this point you cant really have a legit vert pipe without picnic tables, etc in the pipe. see like danny way/colin mckay in the dc video. or that picnic table that tony hawk hits in that vert seg in one step beyond.

while we're on the topic of changing our sport, why don't we have comps called" freeski" or something that is a pipe and park run? Like start at the pipe, and the pipe ends up at the beggining or the park course?

yeah, but it would push athletes harder, thus making them better. Kind of like footbal (or whatever sport, lax), and it would make comps more interesting

its all about the jam format. the way our sport has evolved from freestyle, it should not be grouped into the same criteria as as it. a 2 run format with super strict textbook judging just doesnt suit us anymore...
