I was thinking, it would be cool to open a pipe Place, like thats it, u dont need a mtn and u could just have a j-bar or something, that would be cool for some where around NY wheres theres no good pipes/superpipes , it would always be in good shape, yeah i was just thinking about that

Indoor Pipe and Rail Garden would be fuckin awesome. And maybe if it was big enough, like the fairly big one in Japan or wherever it is, you could stick one big air in there just for gettin down ur steezy shit in the summer.

unless you live out near buffalo where it's flatter than month old soda...... then it's a pretty good idea.....e

they are supposed to open an indoor park in nj along the meadowlands. if it goes down it might be kinda hot, but i have a feeling that it would be crowded 24/7

 
The only problem with this is that, what happened in Austrailia... the pipes get super icy because they're kept at cold temperatures in that way. A lot of salting might help but I dunno, it'd cost a lot so I dunno how many places there would be with this stuff.

i dont know if it is done yet but they were making an indoor terrain park in las vegas. they were gonna set it up so your runs got filmed and you could set a soundtrack to it

Sadly the biggest indoor ski place in Japan in closing. They would have done better in the end to open up to borders and skiers who jib and jump.

P.S. JAPAN HAS SICK POWDER. ITS NOT CALLED A 'DUCK A ROPE PARADISE' FOR NOTHING. YOU CAN RIDE FRESH LINES ALL DAY ' A WEEK or 2 AFTER A STORM. OH YES ITS THAT GOOD.

i have the best idea for a pipe ever. make a super wide pipe and put one long jump like a table down the middle.

 
There's an indoor ski area in Germany somewhere. I was there once and they had a few small jumps and a rail in it. But the snow was so hard. No pipe though. I'm still waiting for that kinda stuff too.

nts that is a retarted idea, how would you ski the pipe if there was a phat table in the middle, if you mean like 2 seperate pipes with the walls as teh sides of the table that still wouldn't work cause the table would have to be fucking HUGE

dude, have the table going across the hill so that u can hit one wall then the table and then the other wall back and forth all the way down the pipe.

that would be to much to do, plus i think you would lose alot of speed, and it'd be hard to cut across that hard, and you would only have one run you could do, so the walls on the pipe would get worked

nts thats a really good idea but it would take lots of snow. everybody thinks it sucks cuz they dont get it. hes sayin you make like an 80 foot wide halfpipe and have a table going down the whole thing with the lips and landings of the tables facing the walls of the pipe. so it goes like you drop in, you hit the table, and hit the pipe wall, you hit the table, you hit the pipe wall and so on and so on. only problem is that you would have really steep ass landings and youd prob land in the flats alot, or you would have super pussy lips with no kick. you would get really tired really fast too. it would have to be only like 200 feet long.

ya i dont have much info but i heard there makin at indoor complex for skiers in my area but it prolly wont be around for years it gonna be like all rails and jumps andi think thell be some kinda hill for the jumps

but im not 100% sure on this cause ive only heard a few things

 
steal ice from an icerink and build your own backyard summer pipe. bad idea, though.

i live in the bay area and we could turn this whole sloped field behind my backyard into a summer pipe..that'd be sick..theres like a nice sloped 500-600 yard down run at one part..man..i could session there every fuckin day 24-7 and bring my own fuckin beats. omg that would be sick.
