Pipe comps this season?

does anyone else feel that like pipe comps this year will be missing something cause tanner isnt competing and he just pushes the game to a whole new level?

or are people going to be excited to see who is going to take gold ans see if theres a new dominant person in pipe skiing?

Dumont vs. Dorey vs Bertoni
Still plenty of competition. Dumont's better than Tanner anyway these days.

i really doubt dumont will have anything much left to offer other than a name this season. he's been doing the same shit year after year, doing it well i grant you, but even if he brings a dubflip this year i don't think he's got what it takes any more to stay at the top.

for me, bertoni, rolland, seaton, dorey and riddle will be the guys to beat. duncan adams will keep styling the shit out of switch hits and with a bit more amp he could be a contender. same goes for aj kempainen. this year could be a huge comeback year for kalle leinonen too, that dude was killing it a couple seasons back before being taken out by injury. dunno if jossi is still into pipe but he might step it up.

i guess what i'm trying to say is that yeah maybe dumont will stay (near) the top but all those guys i listed offer something unique to pipe skiing, dumont no longer does and i think soon he'll be left behind. i'm actually calling dumont to step it up in slope contests, he seems to be really getting strong at that.

j-bone and riddle will be fucking shit up. and wasnt there someone training true double corks in the pipe? not flips but actual dub corks

I think a new battle (new from Dumont vs. Hall) will occur between the French and the Canadians. Bertoni/Rolland vs. Dorey/Riddle. Although I feel David Wise could be the dark horse of the season with his dub corks.
