i'm making this thread just becasue people are making all sorts of threads saying how my they want and how cool they are but i've never heard anyone back this statement up to why they are the best lenses ever. SO NS, lets here it, what makes the pink iriuims so great and if you research make sure you know what you're talking about instead of just posting a graph, data table, or straight up cut and pasting.

You are being a total hypocrite. You said pink iridium sucks but you dont say why it does. And you say ns always says that they are good and do not prove how they are so good as they say it does.

Don't worry NS i believe we have a typo in the title, it should be..."Pink iridum rocks."

and no you don't see pink, you see regular there is not color changing, and actually for me it almost brightens it up when the sun is setting.

you are correct. i did choose the title jsut to catch peoples attetion and it did work. On the second part, there is nothing to justify when asking a question, the justification comes with the answer. But at least you're thinking. I was just waiting to see how many people would say they are the shit.

lol stupidest thread evr.....if there are so many ppl wanting the pink irids im pretty sure they are good buddy.

i'm going to disagree but it really is a bitch move. when i put mine on the snow is pink for like 3 seconds until my eyes ajust. On the setup thing, never heard of that it sounds helpful compared to other googles when the sunset comes very early like in anon halycons.

joe you fail he likes pink irid and hes looking for reasons why they is oh so good.

light good all around lense

looks good

can work in anylight.

thats really odd...because when i put mine on, its like i have no goggles on at all...they block out glare...and rock at night...maybe your eyes are different?

because its the best all around lens ive ever used, its crazy versatile, it looks great, it doesnt make everything look too pink or dark, and it's oakley.

in my experience, hi yellow works becuase it brightens the slopes up its still just flat light, but pink works almost just as well but ALSO - i big also, i still can see different contours on the slope . AND - Smith has a new lense this year - red ignitor - very good as well.

Many lenses like Gold Iridium, Black Iridium, etc, are pretty much sunny day only lenses. They filter too much light, and when it gets darker it becomes harder to pick things out. Essentially, the lens is no longer working as it was designed to. HI Yellow will straight up blind a person unless the sun is down.

Pink Iridium, along with HI persimmon, allows the right amount of light through to allow the skier to see a clear image in a variety of conditions. It is great for grey bird days, because it will not blind you but it is still tinted enough to improve depth perception. At night it is also still good, because what you see is so close to identical to the real thing. It can also hold its own on sunny days, it will be brighter than many prefer but it does protect your eyes somewhat.

Basically its a great go between lens, because if you can own only one lens, this is one of the few that will hold its own 24/7 in all kinds of weather.

best lens ive ever used is the sensor mirrow lens from smith on my prodigy's, i can use it in ANY condtions. My frnd actually told me today how much he hates his pink iridium, he says he can see shit when its cloudy or dark

PInk Iridium works for me in all conditions..

I rarely get to ski in 100% bluebird, so I'm not concerned with my eyes being destroyed using these lenses..On that point, i do think that they are better in serious sunlight than a high intensity lens.

The lenses smoke it when you are in overcast conditions/flat light and Offer excellent depth perception - thats what I look for in a good lens, and they do it well.
