You other guys misinterpreted what I said and are getting all defensive over it.
I, however, form my own opinions based upon experience, the world around me, and logic. I do not take someone else's opinon and accept it as truth.
Honestly, wear whatever clothes you want to wear, sport whatever color you like - so long as it's true to yourself. That you are wearing it because you like it, not because it's popular or 'the cool thing to do.
The point was that the punk culture was formed because people wanted to drift from conformity.
The style, the music, the image went against the trends.
BUT TODAY, media has exploited the 'punk' scene
and have popularized it. Feeding people that good charlotte and bands like that are what punk is.
It has become a modern day trend.
I find that ironic.
Alot of kids are wearing pink these days - not because they necessarily like it, but because it's the 'cool thing to do'. They are trying to fit in with the trend.
Just be true to yourself.
