so when we went there tonight.. it was around 10:30 and the gate was closed so we drove on some road that took us to the top of the hill and found a way to walk on the slopes.. we walked to the edge of the steep hill where the 4 person chair is and saw one cat down there and it looked like a big table but i couldnt really make too much out.. it was real icy up top but its supposed to be in the 40s tomrrow so hopefully everything will be nice and soft
just got home from building... and i dont think its going to dissapoint anyone... the gap after its been brought in due to melting is 83 to the knuckle.. hopefully the speed will be there and we wont have to push it in anymore.. the landing of the gap has 3 booters on it so even if we cant get speed its still hitable. couple rail lines on meadows as well.. on the other side we have a couple barrels set up.. one is super gnarly.. like a 7 foot step up bonk.. the step up has the tower box pointed up like a wallride.. channel gap is two 40 foot tables with a catwidth between.. so diagonal is almost 65 feet.. the roller coaster is setup in the channel. double kink has a sick urban setup.. flat box is kinda high and setup flat..
i wish i would have taken pics but its gonna be amazing..
thank you pfc for the BEST day ive ever had skiing. are they changing it up again tomorrow or the same setup? either way its gonna be sick agai tomorrow
i'm pretty sure everyone has thought of that. every time they always give a bs answer. its just that the meadows is a transistion hill or somethin. tad or trav would know more
seriously though the meadows is useless. there is no difference in steepness between that and farside or backstage. kinda sucks its not a park. plus then it also means all the beginners ride it and it gets stopped a lot
^ thats the reason a transition hill it is mass steeper that farside for sure and chip would rather keep people learning and coming back than just letting us shred both hills all year we dont produce that much income for him and the company. and the best hill for the park by far would be the tubing hill but that brings in more money that skiing does so quit bitching and be thankful for what we have.
It's now what management wants.... it's the customers that bitch a ton. I bet they got 30 e-mails this weekend just saying "Why can't I ski on the blue chair??" People that don't ski in the park, or that don't like park rats just want to make fast laps on that chair....
so my bro just got back and i saw sum footy on the camera and he showed me some of the stuff that was thrown out and im pretty bummed i didnt go...but hey theres always PFC V! and i still get some of the red bull he got! haha
did anyone take some pics or video? i know some guys from concussed threadz made an edit last year did that happen again this year? i just want to see some of these new features that i should be jealous of
sorry we couldnt have as many features as last year guys... but we had epic weather and it was a blast. thanks for coming down and supporting our event.
wow last year must have been amazing if it had even more than this year. the past two days were the best time ive ever had skiing, i can't wait till next year
Hey Tad, did you take a pic of the set up at all this year? Like the second one you have in this thread? I look at that Tony guys photos but he only has one feature at a time.
