No need to go anywhere else on one of the biggest bar nights of the year, with tons of free giveaways, raffles, movies, live band, Dj, and drink specials...the Varsity will be the place to be.

On Wednesday November 26th we will be having a ski film bash at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis. There will be 2 showings, an all ages show, as well as an 18+ bar night. Based with strong roots in the midwest B Film Media presents its 3rd film "Thinking Out Loud" along with the THC movie "Holy Water". We are also proud to present "Turbo" from Level 1 which has received phenomenal reviews worldwide.

Following the movie there will be a DJ and live hip hop band "Dirty Way Special" that are sure to rock the house till the end of the night.

With the help of Pinewskis and additional sponsors we are throwing out tons of gear, films, stickers, posters, give aways of all sorts.

*Sponsors: Pinewskis Ski Shop, Red Bull, Salomon, Big Sky Resort, Bern, Oakley, Nybora Ski team, U of M ski club, MWS, Nixon, Dakine, Level 1, B Film, Sickstickz, UV Vodka, Pabst Blue Ribbon beer.....and more

It was a suggestion. I'm not 18 and I would like to see "Holy Water" That is probably the only way I'll come.

well either way..im sure copies of Holy Water may be available at the event. Some of the content may not be appropriate for a younger crowd, but its still a good movie.

B FILM killed it on putting on another dope premiere tons of product thrown out, sick venue, entertaining moving pictures and nice entrance to the winter season. Only problem was no one showed up! Was it the night of thanksgiving that threw some of you off? Not enough prep time given? Skiing movies from the middle western states are lame? Did anyone reading this go to the Made in MN and our premiere? Thanks everyone that did come out or was there in spirit if you couldn't make it out. SKIING IS FUN!

sorry bros, i would have been there but i got in from milwaukee at 11:00 last night.

Matt, Can i get a copy of your movie while I'm home?

well im gona throw my 2 cents in now....

Craig Weiler, Cullen Krause, Willie Borm, Cody Ling, Bill Kelly, Matt Koskinen, Everly Gohman, Evan Rutford, Chris Mckeever, Steve Janisch....thats about 90% of the rider list of the film. With that you have riders ranging in the age of any where from 10-25. If your from the midwest I would suggest you educate yourselves and find out who these people are. These are some of..if not..the best skiers to ever come out of Minnesota. Hands down. Now Im not saying that there arent other good riders out there, this region is filled with them, but these guys are also my friends. And yeah im not gona lie it was a bit of a bummer not seeing more of you come out, but not for me, but for the support of these riders. They crush it, and others like Allen with his bag of innovate tricks, all help the midwest in having a good name.

Collin Collins is someone who I work with out west, who potentially may be working with Level1. (Turbo extras..)

All said and done I was pumped for the good showing we had, and the positive atmosphere . With having 20 contributing sponsors and with the help of Pine, we had a sick venue, killer drink specials( if that may apply to you) a rediculous amount of toss outs (for both showings), and were able to have one of the best raffle I have ever seen...and was proud to present. Thanks goes out to the sponsors, guests, and most important, the riders for putting themselves on the line to do what they love.

If you havent had a chance to check out their work I will have the film available for sale at Summit, Pine and Ski Hut, and this Sunday at Mowi Wowie 2 at Summit. Come on out, have a good time. It will be pretty easy to see there why the midwest has a good name in the skiing community.
