Pineapple Express!!!

i dont know what all the hype was about. i thought it sucked personally. the stupidity wasnt very funny, terrible acting, and i just didnt like it, maybe because i dont smoke. idk. if you wanna see a good movie i suggest dark knight or step brothers
 
pineapple express was such a dank movie. before i went to see it i had no idea what it was about. 100% weed. id blaze with seth rogan and the dude who plays harry from spider man any day lol.
 
I went and saw it the day after it came out... I don't remember much other than the fact that it was soooooooo fucking funny. I don't actually remember what exactly happened though haha. I don't even remember how much i smoked before i went and saw it, but it was amazing. I think it was the hash that did me in hahahaha.
 
Meh. Some of it was pretty damn funny. "Fuck the police" part really got me going. So unexpected. So fuckin' good.
 
yep, only ridiculous part was in the school, when he was fighting with the teacher and that guy was like have a big dick of a day or some shit, i was so baked uncontrollably laughing my ass off
 
it was pretty fucking sick, I laughed incredibly hard.

was it as good as superbad? not really.

was it as good as knocked up? at least if not better.
 
yeah i agree. the trailer was good, and i was really pumped to see it, but it was pretty mediocre. superbad was much better and i'd pick knocked up over it as well.
 
I watched it last night for the first time not stoned. I thought it was still reallly hilarious. Mostly because we can relate to most everything in that movie. Like if you saw it and didn't smoke weed you wouldn't realize how funny a lot of the shit is. and seeing it chopped just brings out a different type of humor and understanding. I thought it was a great movie for the type of budget it looked to be made with as well.
 
Finally saw it sober enough to form an actual opinion...

As far as raw comedic value goes, Superbad was better. As far as intelligent comedy goes, it beats the fuck out of Superbad. On par with Knocked Up and Sarah Marshall. The whole fight scene is out of control hilarious.
 
Funny movie compared to all the comedy movies that have come out. But compared to seth rogan's other movies 40 year old virgin, knocked up, superbad, etc. it sucked
