Pineapple Express: The cooked effect

I watched the movie once again today, and I started thinking....

How do they look so cooked when they smoke? Cause when Dale first goes to Saul's apartment and they smoke the cross joint, they do looked pretty damn baked.

Now I would think they have some sort of trick to make their eyes look glazed... but I could be wrong, I mean, they could actually be smoking a phatty.

Now if I knew the answer to this question, then this thread wouldn't be here.

But anyways...

They camde out bveryabblly many rtimes, beforre the mocie came out qnd said trhat they werent smokeing at all in the moovie.
 
they are actors and good at acting. maybe some makeup and eye colour too. the reason they didnt actually smoke in the movie was because they would be too baked to act if they did.
 
I thought i saw an interview with seth and he said that they were high throughout the movie. And they apparently improved many of their lines. Let me see if i can find the vid.
 
No, they used fake weed to. Like in my drunken post from last night, they made numerous verbal announcements before the movie came out that they didnt smoke at all during filming.
 
i heard somewhere, and dont quote me on this because i forgot where it even came from, that your allowed to use real weed in movies as long as its under the classification of a prop
 
idk about pineapple express, but I know they used real weed for most of the filming of grandmas boys. Ide be real surprised if seth rogen always used faked weed on sets.
 
When they smoke the cross joint it looks like Seth Rogan is really smoking but the other guy isn't. The hit Seth takes is so fat that if it was tobacco or something that shit would have hurt. I bet they smoke real bud and then just tell everyone they don't, thats what I would do. Seth Rogan looks legitimately blazed in many scenes of the movie but no one else really does.

 
They basically take blends of small amounts of legal herbs and blend them together and somehow process it so it looks like weed. Its like the commercials you see on the internet where you can buy "legal bud".

claims he used to smoke and dosn't anymore...... hmmmm

but anyways he also says they are in the works of pe2!
